My daughter & her husband have lived in their home for 12 years and are selling it and they are in the process of building another house, or having one built. He was laid off from his last job when the company downsized. He was out of a job for three or four months. He recently obtained a job and has been working for a few weeks. He qualifies financially for the salary question. Could they qualify for the $6,500 stimulus package? Thanks Micki

We live in CA. We will be closing on a home this week. We will qualify for the $6500 tax credit. I’ve heard that we must show we are living in it right away. What is the acceptable way to show this? We could not switch our mail to that residence until we actually closed. What is the time limit to show we live there? Thanks.

We are senior citizens hoping to move to a LESS expensive house but will rent our present home , which we have lived in for 7 years, so do we qualify?

I own and have lived in my home for over 20 years. I am now Purchasing a foreclosured home but not planning to move to this new home until I sell my present house which will take while due to market conditions. I am retired wih an income of $35,00 a year. Do I aualify for the new stimulus package of $6500?
