Sustainable Homes, Inc. and Vintage Oaks at the Vineyard offer free seminar on Meeting Future Water Needs Through Rainwater Harvesting.New Braunfels, TX, August 9, 2009: Sustainable Homes, Inc. and Vintage Oaks at the Vineyard will be presenting a free seminar on Meeting Future Water Needs Through Rainwater Harvesting on August 15, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. in the Vintage Oaks Clubhouse at Vintage Oaks at the Vineyard. The program will focus on the current drought status, how well rain harvesting works in a drought, sizing a rain catchment system, and the environmental and economic benefits of rain harvesting. John Kight, current president of the Texas Rainwater Catchment Association, will be presenting. John has been instrumental in finding working solutions to water needs in the Texas Hill Country. The session will also include a tour of a home sustained solely by rain water.
The seminar is free and open to the public. Space is limited to the 1st 50 registrants.
