New Braunfels, TX - June 30, 2009 - Sustainable Homes, Inc. and Vintage Oaks at the Vineyard will be presenting a free seminar on Solar Energy Applications in Residential Construction on Saturday, July 11 at 10:00 A.M. in the community information center at Vintage Oaks at the Vineyard. The program will focus on how solar energy works, the types of solar systems available, application of solar in residential construction, tax credits, and available rebates. The presenters will be Mike Scott of Sustainable Homes and Dustin Aubrey of Novastar Energy, a San Antonio-based installer of solar energy systems. The session will also include a tour of a grid-tied solar powered home.
