Do I have to build on the land I purchase from Bluegreen?
No. Bluegreen Communities® property owners enjoy the benefit of having no timeframe to begin building a custom home. As a Bluegreen owner, you enjoy supreme flexibility unmatched by other planned communities. You decide if you build, where on the lot you build, how you build your home, who builds it and when you begin building. Once construction begins, most communities require the home to be complete within one year. To ensure consistency within the community, covenants may also specify certain style and minimum size requirements.Does Bluegreen Communities® build homes?
No. Bluegreen Communities® divides the land into homesites, builds the infrastructure (roads, utilities, common areas and planned amenities) and designs and installs landscaping that maintains as much of the existing, natural environment as possible.Does Bluegreen Communities® offer financing?
We form local alliances with lenders in each market where we have a community.Does each community have a Property Owners’ Association (POA)?
Yes, we believe that Property Owners’ Associations are vital to the success of the community. How can I get information on building guidelines for my community/homesite?

To obtain this information, simply call or visit the community you’re interested in and a representative will be happy to help you.How can I make an appointment to tour a new community?

No, Bluegreen Communities® property owners have the freedom to select any builder, as long as the builder is qualified. Is the property surveyed?
Yes. With a surveyed parcel, you have greater assurance that the acreage will be exactly what you contracted for. Boundary lines are shown on the survey map, as well as pinned and flagged on the property. Is the title to the property clear? (free of liens and other encumbrances)
Yes, clear title is guaranteed, usually by warranty deed.Is title insurance available on the property?
Yes. We suggest that you consult your closing attorney, escrow agent or real estate agent for further information on title insurance. What are the current taxes on the property?
Taxes usually relate to services provided by the town, county or school authority, and they vary by community. Ask your sales representative for more information on the local taxes in the area you are considering. What are the deed restrictions on this property?
It is very important that you understand what uses are permitted or not permitted on any given property to help you decide which parcels meet your requirements. Occasionally a property will meet all town requirements for a particular use, but a deed restriction will not permit that use. Be sure to ask if there are any deed restrictions before building. If you intend to build, inquire about building codes and what permits will be required. What if I want a specific-sized or very large homesite?
